REVAMP FOR REBEL RECOMMENDS I've made a few key changes. Firstly, as of today, the latest post now has the home page slot all to itself. Secondly, I'm now using a bit of code whereby the YouTube videos now load 'on the fly', which considerably reduces the page load time. Where previously a page with 30 videos took a rather cumbersome 12 seconds to fully populate, this new technique reduces the full-load time to a more tolerable 4.5 seconds. Finally, and this pretty neat I think, I've redone the navigation menu which explores the blog's full history. A common feed at the foot of every page gives an at-a-glance overview of all previous posts, broken down into batches of 30 at-a-time. Clicking on any of the song titles should take you straight there. |

VARIOUS ARTISTS I dunno how I managed it, but the page for Various Artist compiles has not been in place all this time. Maybe I deleted it by accident one time, I can't quite recall. Anyway, I've rustled up a quick fix, which looks ok, so I'll probably settle on that. Featuring 'Dance Craze' in the news feature as it was the first LP I ever bought nearly 40 years ago. Blimey. |

Smith cajoled his double-drumming troops into new territories, unleashing another unorthodox Fall masterpiece, much to the great bemusement of the world at large.
